Dunnsville, VA getaway April 30, 2021

Had a lovely invitation from Gavin and Liz to visit with them down in Dunnsville, Va for a couple of days. Today was as Winnie the Pooh likes to say, BLUSTERY.  It was a sweet house right on the water. A long dock almost reaching halfway across the river. Not really, but it was long nonetheless.

Liz's cousin Marcel from St. Lewes came with his wife Sylvia and their little daughter Sienna along with her mom and dad.

We all sat around and talked. We put a few crab traps out hoping to catch a few but the weather and water may still be to cold to catch any. however, I did catch a sunburn because it was so chilly and windy I didn't think about it being a problem so my knees are lobster red and will probably peel in a few days.

Gavin enjoying a float in the kayak that is provided. This place has a little beach, perfect for kids and to drag a chair down and read a bit.

a cold front coming in last night.
