Saturday in Dunnsville May 1, 2021/ Sunday May 2

Saturday: Windy beginning, but a lovely afternoon. Boy, I could take a week of this kind of weather.

Evan and Gavin getting out on the water Saturday afternoon. The wind died down and the temperature got a bit warmer.

Liz's parents with Maverick spending time with a happy little boy
Sweet little Maverick. He is as delightful as they come. Gentle in spirit and quiet in demeanor, he is a joy to be around.
Sunday morning. May 2 (Happy Birthday Carson)
I woke up before everyone and since the sun was not up just yet I took my camera and bare feet out on the deck to watch a new day being born. It was much warmer than yesterday and the quietness on the water was soothing to my soul. As the sun came up I was thinking of moments in my life that were special. This was indeed one of them. No noise on the water, no traffic just the sun making an entrance into another day.  Warming the earth, lighting the sky just doing what a sun does. So much taken for granted, yet if one day, one 24 hours the sun didn't rise, we'd grumble and we'd be pretty cold.

Sunday morning just kept getting better and better. Marcel (Liz's cousin) made Pao de Queijo which is Brazilian Cheese bread. (I hope I spelled that right) DELICIOUS!!! and quite a treat. He makes it like his mom makes it and  she makes it how her mom made it. Truly authentic Brazilian cheese bread. YUMMY!
It was a chill (as in relaxed) morning. Warm weather and warm company.
Father and son paddling together enjoying life and the water.

Now, this could actually be the centerfold of 2021 surfing magazine. Nice pic Gavin. This man loves the water!

Just before saying goodbye this morning Marcel, Sylvia and Sienna found some beach time at the end of the property. Sweet family, a lovely couple and a joy to get to know.

Thank you Gavin and Liz for a wonderful time away and including us in this family time.

See you soon Maverick!
