Cape Henlopen, DE August 24-27 2020

It was a hot couple of days, but one! The day we went to the beach was nothing short of magical. We visited with some of our family which made this trip very special. My nephew made us all dinner on my moms birthday. If she was alive it would have been her 96th. He made my fathers marinated BBQ chicken and it was delicious...beyond delicious, it was divine. He also made my mom's potato salad and the girls made mom's Dear Abby Cake and chocolate chip cookies.Thank you Eric for serving your family with this memory and such delicious foods.

Evan and I walked around Fort Miles. It was a scorching hot day, but we enjoyed walking around and seeing the guns that were stationed to protect this part of the Delaware shore. I certainly would not want to be a target with these massive guns.

All in all a sweet time with family!

Next stop...Lord willing Colorado!!!
