Our last fire in Alaska, last stop at Eagle Lake near Anchorage.
As much as we wanted to see one of these in the wild, we had to come to Cabela's in Anchorage to see one. After looking at the size of these things I guess seeing one might not be the best especially if we were walking.
We are staying compliments of Cabela's kindness to campers in their parking lot. We have a long day here today and tomorrow we get to the airport at 5 for a 11pm flight. The reason we are staying here is that we truly have seen everything we wanted to see, went everywhere we wanted to go. And since places are so far apart up here we decided to use this day to pack, plug-in and ponder our trip.
We will spend a lot of time exploring Cabela's. The displays of animals is something to see. I so with the kids were here. They would love seeing it all. They even have a fish tank that has all kinds of salmon swimming around. There is even a waterfall in the store.
So this is it for this trip. I'm ready to get home.
